Anyone who's been to Chili's knows the feeling of sitting down, getting handed a menu the size of a textbook and taking forever to decide what you want!
At one point the menu actually had 125 options.
How crazy!!
Well if you visit Chili's after September 18th, the menu will look totally different.
In an effort to boost sales and customer experience, Chili's is cutting 40 percent of its menu items.
This means 50 items that won't make the cut.
In a press release, Chili's said they "tried to be all things to all guests, therefore compromising execution and resulting in a fuzzy food reputation." While they're not going so far as to their original, 25-item menu, they are getting rid of a ton of dishes.
Chili's President Kelli Valade continued, "We apologize to any guest who misses a departed dish, but with this bold move we commit to all Guests to do a better job of serving our famous food on every visit, in every restaurant."
The restaurant says it will focus on its roots, paring down to feature "meatier burgers," ribs, and fajitas.
