Sabrina The Teenage Witch Is Getting A Reboot!

Sabrina The Teenage Witch is getting a reboot on The CW and it's from the same producers who brought us Riverdale!

According to Variety, The CW and Waner Bros Television are working on a new one-hour drama chronicling the adventures of Sabrina Spellman, with a dark tone in-keeping with Riverdale.

This only makes sense considering the classic sitcom was based on the Archie Comics.

The new series would be specifically based on the comic series 'The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina.'

It is described as being "tonally in the vein of Rosemary's Baby and The Exorcist."

Well this sounds pretty creepy!

Sabrina will be seen having to reconcile her dual nature as a half-witch, half-mortal, while standing against the evil forces that threaten her, her family, and the daylight world humans inhabit.

While the show hasn't been ordered to series yet, the odds seem pretty good considering the executive producer Greg Berlanti already has a bunch of shows on The CW including: Riverdale, Arrow, The Flash and Supergirl.

Archie Comics chief creative officer Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa will serve as writer and executive producer, while regular Riverdale director Lee Toland Krieger will also direct and executive produce.

I guess our question is when will we be seeing a Riverdale and Sabrina the Teenage Witch crossover?!
