YouTube is now letting music artists sell tickets to U.S. performances under a new partnership with Ticketmaster!!
Artists currently listing upcoming tour dates with links to Ticketmaster’s website include Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Halsey, The Chainsmokers and The Killers.
Earlier this week, YouTube began featuring hundreds of artists’ upcoming U.S. tour dates on their YouTube videos.
The listings appear in a new section underneath the video description on the official videos on their channels, on both desktop and mobile apps.
Dates and venues are listed and include a direct link to Ticketmaster.com to purchase tickets.
The partnership between Ticketmaster and YouTube allows artists to sell verified tickets to their fans.
According to YouTube, they will roll out the ticketing feature to all artists who have Ticketmaster shows in North America.
It has future plans to expand the feature worldwide.
