If you love traveling, then you most likely have a passport and it looks like the cost for renewing is going up!
As of now, it costs $110 and a $25 execution fee to renew your passport, so in total you pay $135.
Well beginning April 2, 2018, the price of an execution fee will increase to $35, making your total $145.
However, if you want to avoid the execution charge all together you can renew your passport by mail!
Renewing by mail will take 4-6 weeks so make sure you give yourself plenty of time to do this before your trip.
If you need your passport before that, you can pay $60 for an expedited renewal.
