Ever since Instagram stopped showing users a chronological feed of photos and videos, a majority of Insta users have been VERY annoyed.
I mean, we're seeing photos from 4 days ago instead of current photos!
Well Instagram is finally fixing that...kind of...
In a blog post, the company said it has heard everyone’s complaints.
While they are not going back to a solely chronological feed, they're "making changes to ensure that newer posts are more likely to appear first in feed."
Kevin Weil, VP of product at Instagram, tweeted that the change is “focused on making the feed fresher.”
Instagram is also testing a “New Posts” button that lets you choose when you want to refresh the feed.
If you tap it, you will see brand new posts at the top of your feed and if you don’t, you will stay where you are.
The company noted that more changes are coming and they’ll make further announcements down the road.
Hopefully this new change will be so much better!
