During today's (4/11) Detroit Tigers vs. Cleveland Indians game, Tigers starting pitcher Jordan Zimmerman had to leave the game during the first inning after getting hit in his face by a line drive!
Jason Kipnis was only the second batter to face Zimmermann when the incident happened.

According to Statcast, the line drive left Kipnis' bat at 105.6 mph!
Luckily Zimmermann was able get up and walk off the mound.
The Tigers announced shortly after Zimmermann left the game that he suffered a right jaw contusion, but was still being evaluated by the medical staff.
We hope he's going to be okay!
