It's a free for all when it comes to free samples from Costco and in this case it turned into a physical altercation over samples.
According to a police report, a 70-year-old man was waiting in line for some free samples as one does at Costco when a 72-year-old man cut the line and grabbed the sample.
Then the 70-year-old joined a group waiting for a cheeseburger sample when he spotted the 72-year-old coming up to do the same thing again.
The 70-year-old made a remark that "he could get in front of him because he knew he would just cut the line anyway."
The other senior citizen got testy saying he would do it again and called the 70-year-old a jerk.
The 72-year-old hit the 70-year-old and his hat and glasses were knocked off his head.
When police arrived on the scene, the 72-year-old had left, but he later admitted to throwing the first and only hit because he thought the 70-year-old was going to hit him.
No arrests have been made, and both men have different accounts of what happened.
