Hockey Hall of Fame Is Considering Banning Keg Stands On The Stanley Cup!

If you're a hockey play who's had the dream of doing a keg stand on the Stanley Cup, we have some bad news because of the Washington Capitals.

When the Capitals celebrated their first Stanley Cup, they were the first to ever attempt a keg stand on the Stanley Cup when they were on Jimmy Fallon.

One of the Hockey Hall of Fame caretakers for the Stanley Cup, Philip Pritchard, said that he has advised the Washington Capitals to stop the keg stands.

He said, "We ask them politely not to do it. We're trying to preserve the history of the Stanley Cup. We don't want any unnecessary damage to it or a person, in case they drop the person or he presses too hard or something."

Now it has been noted that "future champions could be prohibited from replicating Washington's trademark celebration."

Well I guess that dream has now gone out the window...
