Alex will be playing Dr. Nico Kim, but there are no other details that have been provided on the character.
Entertainment Tonight pointed out that Grey’s Anatomy has featured some LGBTQ characters over the years.
This includes Callie Torres, a bisexual doctor and Arizona Robbins, a lesbian doctor.
Season 15 of Grey’s Anatomy premieres with a two-hour episode on September 27th.
