Target Brings Back The Car Seat Trade-In Program!

This month is National Baby Safety month and in honor of that Target is bringing back their car seat trade in program!

The way the old program worked was that customers could bring in an old seat for 20% off a new one.

However, from now until September 22nd, guests can bring any old, used or damaged car seats in to most Target stores for recycling and receive a 20 percent off coupon valid for the purchase of a new car seat, car seat base, travel system or stroller!

Also for the first time select baby home gear such as playards, high chairs, swings, rockers and bouncers are included in the coupon!

Here’s how it works:

  • When you get to your local Target store, bring your used car seat to the drop-off box located near Guest Services.
  • The team member there will give you a 20 percent off coupon. Guests can get one coupon per seat dropped off.
  • While car seats can only be traded in at a Target store, the coupons picked up can be applied to both in-store and online purchases. The coupon is eligible through October 6th.

Are you going to take part in this Car Seat Trade-In Program?
