If you're a fan of the game of Scrabble then you understand our pain when we try to play words, but they "don't count."
Well get ready for the best news ever my fellow Scrabble lovers!
300 new words have just been added to the Scrabble Dictionary like: sriracha, beatdown, zomboid, twerk, sheeple, wayback, bibimbap, botnet, emoji, facepalm, frowny, hivemind, puggle and yowza.
As if that wasn't great news, there's even better news because "OK" and "ew" are finally acceptable words!
Lexicographer Peter Sokolowski, editor at large at Merriam-Webster says, "OK is something Scrabble players have been waiting for, for a long time. Basically two- and three-letter words are the lifeblood of the game."
Merriam-Webster hasn't updated the Official Scrabble Players Dictionary in four years, but they just released the sixth edition.
Also if you're ready to be a high scorer, words like "bizjet" or "bizjets," will be worth 120 points!
Are you happy that new Scrabble words have been added?
