If you a big fan of Stranger Things, you would know that the show would definitely not be the same without these iconic characters.
Well apparently TWO characters were originally going to die in season 1!
Eleven was originally pitched as a limited series character, but then the creators realized that the show was potentially going to be longer than just 1 season.
Co-creator Ross Duffer said, "We needed to leave it more up in the air, because deep down we knew the show just wouldn’t really work without Eleven.”
He continued, "At that point, we knew how special Millie Bobby Brown was. If there was going to be more Stranger Things, Eleven had to come back.”
The other character who was going to die in Season 1 was Steve Harrington!
Ross said, “This Steve character, he was just supposed to be this giant douchebag, but he became a fan favorite convincing them to change his destiny.”
Could you imagine the series continuing without Eleven or Steve?!
