Do you love Mexican food?
Well get ready because a museum and educational kitchen called La Plaza Cocina is set to open in downtown LA in early 2019.
La Plaza Cocina is devoted entirely to the history and evolution of Mexican food.
It will be located in LA Plaza Village and the museum will explore and honor Mexican cuisine.
The museum will also showcase its relationship with Los Angeles through programs, classes, events and exhibitions.
Chief executive of LA Plaza de Cultura y Artes, John Echeveste says, "Los Angeles is the Mexican food capital of the country, and it deserves a place that celebrates the history and culture that we have with Mexican food. It’s important, not only to Latino families, but anyone who eats.”
