Imagine getting proposed to and as your fiancée is putting the ring on your finger, they DROP THE RING down a grate in NYC!
Sounds like a nightmare right?
Well that's exactly what happened to this couple over the weekend!
This man brought his girlfriend to Times Square around midnight when he got down on one knee.
Well just like normal he got excited and was a little nervous all at the same time when he accidentally dropped the engagement ring DOWN THE GRATE!
Well since Twitter is known for reuniting people, the NYPD tweeted the security video so they can return the ring to the happy couple.
The NYPD was able to give the ring back to the happy couple and you can see below that the case is officially closed!
