Back in the day, the milkman would drop off fresh milk and would come back for the bottles once people would drink that supply.
Well now Pepsi, Unilever, and Nestle want to bring that idea back by offering this new subscription delivery service.
The new service is called Loop and it's basically the modern milkman using reusable packaging.
Loop will launch with 25 big name partners in order to offer an environmentally friendly subscription plan.
The way it works is that Loop will have UPS drivers drop off a reusable bag that contains whatever products you ordered.
Once those products are used, customers can schedule for their old containers to be picked up and for new containers to be dropped off.
Loop will handle all of the cleaning when it comes to the packaging.
It will be launched in parts of Paris, New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania starting in May.
Then it will head to London through Tesco later this year and eventually heading to Tokyo in 2020.
The products will cost you the same as it would for a single use container, but you will have to pay a container deposit that would cost between $1 and $10.
Shipping will start at $20, but will decrease with every item added.
