We were all pretty sad when we had to say goodbye to our childhood toy store Toys R Us.
Well it's looking like Geoffrey the Giraffe could be making a comeback.
Former Toys R Us Executive and CEO of Tru Kids Brands Richard Barry, told the Associated Press that him and his team are still working on details, but are still working on ways to create freestanding Toys R US stores and a shop within stores.
Richard founded Tru Kids and is also managing the Toys R Us, Babies R Us, and Geoffrey brands.
He said, "These brands are beloved by customers and the company will focus on experiences in the stores.
He's already reached out to toy makers and has received a lot of support.
Tru Kids is currently open in New Jersey and will work with licensing partners to open up 70 more stores this year in Asia, India, and Europe.
