One show that will never get old is "Friends" and we will laugh just as much as the first time we saw it!
I mean we could watch it all day long on Netflix and when all of the re-runs air on TV!
Well with all of these old TV shows coming back to life with these reboots, we've always wondered if Friends would ever do one too.
Rumors really started swirling when Jennifer Aniston said her and the girls would love to do a reboot that would be kind of like Golden Girls.
Co-creator of Friends, Marta Kauffman put an end to the rumors in an interview with Rolling Stone saying,
"One, the show is about a time in your life when your friends are your family. It's not that time anymore. All we'd be doing is putting those six actors back together, but the heart of the show would be gone. Two, I don't know what good it does us. The show is doing just fine, people love it. A reunion could only disappoint. "The One Where Everyone's Disappointed."
She also noted the way we watch TV now is different because we just lie in bed and watch on our computers whereas back then you would watch with a group of friends.
I guess we can forget about an official "Friends" reboot, but we can still be hopeful for a Golden Girls style reboot with the Friends girls as the cast right?
