Few thoughts scare people more than, "I have to go to the DMV".
Eek. Well, with the Real ID being a necessity in 2020, it may be time for you to make a visit. Usually the experience includes attitudes, and terrible wait times, so much so, that you have to use a vacation day to get anything done.
Well, NBC4 is reporting that wait times have dropped at SoCal DMV's. Maybe they're handing out energy drinks and coffee to deal with the flood of people needing that Real ID by October.
I usually go to the one in Glendale, but this time I decided to go to a smaller one, just outside of the city. Reason be, MYfm had an event at Morongo Casino, out East off the 10, so I took advantage of the drive, and stopped at Banning DMV.
Great experience.
Everyone was so great, and I was in and out in 14 minutes. No, that's not a typo. So, my advice, look to some of those smaller cities on the outskirts, and get that Real ID handled.
Don't wait till September 30th.
