AC Slater Confirms Saved by the Bell Is Back

I was always a fan of Saved By The Bell, which first aired 30 years ago, and even though I loved Kelly Kapowski, I was more of a Stacey Carosi guy. She's the character Leah Remini played, as the daughter of the beach club that they all worked at during the summer.

Aside from keeping it alive with syndication, and the pop up diner, The Max, which we had in West Hollywood recently, now apparently the show is coming back !!! The first installment is 10 episodes, which hopefully means, if all goes well, it will continue. MyFM's own Mario Lopez confirmed this on Ellen today, and gives us some details, including where we can see it.

Unfortunately the creator of Saved By The Bell, Sam Bobrick, whose TV credits also include The Flintstones, Bewitched, The Andy Griffith Show, Captain Kangaroo, andGet Smart, died from a stroke this past October.

From what I've seen, so far only AC Slater and his girlfriend, Jessie Spano, played by Elizabeth Berkley, are the only returning cast members. I'm hoping I missed something, and the rest are involved too. It will be interesting to see if Dustin "Screech" Diamond will return, as there is famous drama with the cast, and especially him.
