This is so cool to watch. Obviously not because of the potential danger, but to see someone successfully defend themselves, at any age.
I think it's always a thought in the back of your mind, when you go to the ATM, to glance your surroundings in fear someone sees a value in attacking you. It's unfortunately and even sick to think of it, but it's just reality. Please always take a look around, and even better, make sure it's an ATM that is in the public, and definitely not after dark hits.
This 77-year old man showed some serious bravery in fighting back, although that can be very dangerous. You never know what weapons people have, and since they're willing to physically hurt someone, I'm sure they'd be more than willing to use them. So don't take this as a lesson fighting back, but as a lesson to be cautious of your surroundings at all times.
