Meet Petey, an adorable Chihuahua mix! He's two years old and one the big side for a Chi, weighing about 16 pounds. Petey is partial to adults so a no-kid household is best for him. He'd also like to be the star of the show so a home with no other pets is ideal. He hasn't had much training but he's learning fast! He has good recall, plays fetch, and is a champion bed warmer.
He'd do really well with an experienced dog owner who can give him solid structure and continue the great training his foster family started him on. He loves sidling up to you and laying close while you're on your Zoom calls and he doesn't need a ton of exercise - perfect for a Shelter in Place! 😉
He's neutered and has all his vaccinations. And he's got the cutest lil' underbite!
