These pets are available to adopt at Marin Humane, along with a ton of other amazing pets who deserve a great forever home!
Get to know Wolfgang:
Wolfgang is a large, goofy, floppy adolescent with a kind heart. He is also super handsome with really neat markings- check out those light brindle points on his face and feet! Wolfgang loves people and greets them with a tail wag and a hand lick. He also was polite and playful with the other dog he was introduced to at he previous shelter. He walks nicely on leash and is responsive to his handler, and so far has been quite the gentleman.
Being that he is practically still a puppy, Wolfgang does still have a lot to learn. Sometimes he wants to jump up to say hi, and when he's super excited to go out for a walk he will try to hold his leash or maybe even your arm (very gently though!) so he just needs a bit a guidance on how to better direct his enthusiasm. He seems like an eager student though, so we are sure he will learn fast.
If you are looking for a big sweet buddy we think Wolfgang just might be the guy for you.
Get to know Rubble:
Rubble is a handsome young husky ready for adventure! He hasn't been taught much yet but he seems like an eager student. He appears to be dog-social and might do well in a home with other dogs, or organized play dates with well-matched canine friends. Like all huskies Rubble will need a lot of physical and mental exercise to be happy and healthy, and a good grooming routine to keep his double coat in good condition. Rubble has a movie star smile and a bubbly personality and would be a great companion for an active home- come meet this charming fellow today and see if he is your next BFF!
Get to know King Fluffy Pants:
King Fluffy Pants is one handsome boy! He is confident, social and friendly. While he likes to hangout with his people, he is also an explorer and needs plenty of space to keep him busy. He is a cool cat--relaxed, charming, talkative.... and did I mention handsome?
King Fluffy Pants is aptly named as he wants to be "king" of his turf. He is adament about going outside and keeping other cats at bay. He likes his people neighbors and enjoys visiting with them. We think King Fluffy Pants needs a large safe space for his larger than life personality.
Get to know Zaidie:
We thought Zaidie (Zay-dee) would like a break from the shelter and more room so we sent to her an experienced foster home. When she first arrived there, unlike how she was here, she needed time to warm up to her new surroundings. Her adopters should keep that in mind. She may need a week or so to settle in. But, once she does, you'll discover what a sweet bunny she is. Her foster "mom" tells us this about her:
She likes to have a variety of toys to toss around and play with. She's starting to come out and enjoy running up and down my upstairs hallway. And is exploring the tunnel I put out for her. She gets a nightly cuddle session and petting on the couch with me. She's been a great eater and good using her litterbox. Every day she's getting a bit more active and confident. She would do best in an adults only home that is very Zen like. Although she probably would be fine with calm older children. I am loving watching her gain more confidence everyday. It's such a joy to watch.
She needs a LOT of space so she can be more relaxed. Like many rabbits if Zaidie is kept in a cage or small enclosure she'll not be very happy. We recommend two x-pens for her or let her be a free roaming bunny. At the shelter she even gave a few kisses to our rabbit volunteers. Rare for a rabbit indeed.
Marin Humane rabbits are companion house rabbits. They live indoors only and cage free- living in a pen or free-roam in the home. This lets them live much longer, happier lives! Indoor rabbits can live 12+ years and require a lot of time and commitment. In return they offer years of love and companionship!
Tune into Marcus & Corey every Friday to meet more animals that could be your family's next pet.
