Meet April:

April is a sweet, affectionate, and friendly female Pitbull who loves all dogs no matter what their sizes are. She is a social butterfly who loves to meet and greet new people and dogs. April is an outgoing and playful girl who has a lot of energy and loves to play fetch and run around with other dogs. She is also very loyal and loves to cuddle up with anyone for some quality time. April has a gentle and calm disposition that makes her the perfect companion for any family. April has a shiny and smooth tan/red that makes her even cuter!! She has big brown eyes that are always full of love and energy. Overall, April is an amazing dog who loves everyone and is loved by all who meet her. She is a true testament to the fact that Pitbull's are sweet and loving dogs who deserve all the love and care in the world. April is currently being fostered by HAPPY HOUND DOGGIE DAYCARE in Oakland and everyone there loves her to pieces! She gets to hang out with staff all day and get all the TLC she needs. She's hoping her forever family will come swoop her up soon!! April is sensitive and small kids do tend to intimidate her, so a home with older or no children. April has been with us for a very long time and we are hoping she can find her forever couch where she can get all the love in the world.

Meet Megan:

Megan the Momma kitty is still jut a big kitten herself! She's chatty and loves to roll around on her back and definitely has a silly side to her. She deserves to have all of the love and nurturing like she gave to her babies. Megan would love a home that will give her time to adjust and bond with her.

P.S. I'm in the East Bay. If you're interested in possibly meeting with me, please start by filling out a Pets & People profile form located on the "How to Adopt" site page.

Meet Swatch:

Swatch is very much a micro-panther. His sleek, black coat, and lion-like face make him appear wise beyond his years. And his calmer demeanor lets him appreciate the smaller things in life that his siblings tend to just zoom past. Swatch is the shyest of his litter, and did take some time to open up, but with his guard at last down, this boy has blossomed into a sweet, playful, and handsome young man. He still is a kitten and plays with the best of them, chasing wand toys, galloping across the living room rug, and tumbling in battle with his brothers. But Swatch also enjoys the beauty of a napping in the sun and soaking up that VItamin D. This boy is looking for a home that will be patient as he continues to come out of his shell, but with the reward of his affection and molten gold gaze of adoration for his forever family.

Meet Ranger:

Hello there! I'm Ranger and my host mom says I am a wicked fast learner! They have taught me Sit and Touch; 'stay' I am starting to figure out, 'drop it' has not really caught on just yet. I do not mind my bath, like both my collar and my harness, and walk pretty well on a leash (zig-zagging every which way).

I'm learning about pee-pads, and I go on them, or at least near them, 90% of the time.I know "Potty time" means I am supposed to pee/poop when we are outside, and I will do that pretty much on command. I have never peed in my crate.

At night, I sleep in my crate on a blanket. At first, I would whine for a couple minutes. Now I just curl up and get some rest. And I can sleep all the way through the night without needing to get up to pee! (I do prioritize 'potty time' as soon as I get up and appreciate a quick trip outside.) I do have a rather loud yawn that is endearing.

I covet shoes, slippers, socks. Anything that smells like your feet, I want in my mouth. I have not actually destroyed anything though I try to chew them, and have carried shoes all around the house and hidden them fairly well. I will also sleep with my face in your slippers. I spend a lot of time chewing all types of dog toys - plushies, nylas, and ropes.

I am full of energy at breakfast and dinner time, and have been learning to wrestle and play tug of war with my host dog friend. I'm also content to nap lots of the middle of the day, if that's what everyone else is doing. I definitely prefer to stick close to my pack mates, both canine and human, and I am very friendly when meeting new humans and dogs.

The kitty here is older and cranky and does not want to hang out with me. I try to sniff her and will sit and stare at her, but basically leave her alone most of the time.

Listen to Marcus and Corey every Friday to meet more adoptable pets!
