Meet April:
April is a sweet, affectionate, and friendly female Pitbull who loves all dogs no matter what their sizes are. She is a social butterfly who loves to meet and greet new people and dogs. April is an outgoing and playful girl who has a lot of energy and loves to play fetch and run around with other dogs. She is also very loyal and loves to cuddle up with anyone for some quality time. April has a gentle and calm disposition that makes her the perfect companion for any family. April has a shiny and smooth tan/red that makes her even cuter!! She has big brown eyes that are always full of love and energy. Overall, April is an amazing dog who loves everyone and is loved by all who meet her. She is a true testament to the fact that Pitbull's are sweet and loving dogs who deserve all the love and care in the world. April is currently being fostered by HAPPY HOUND DOGGIE DAYCARE in Oakland and everyone there loves her to pieces! She gets to hang out with staff all day and get all the TLC she needs. She's hoping her forever family will come swoop her up soon!! April is sensitive and small kids do tend to intimidate her, so a home with older or no children. April has been with us for a very long time and we are hoping she can find her forever couch where she can get all the love in the world.
Meet Minuet:
Wow - what an exotic face on beautiful Minuet! She came to Hopalong with her babies that have already been adopted, and now it's her turn to shine! She's been doing well in a great foster home and is ready to find a home of her own. She's been pretty chill and non demanding while with us, but she will needs lots of TLC to adjust to a new home.
Meet Maka:
Hi! My name is Maka. I'm a great boy looking for a new home! I came to Hopalong because my first family could no longer take care of me after 7 years.
I am very obedient and calm. I'm really dog social, great with people, and love to please. I already know how to sit, stay, and lay down. I go to the bathroom in the outside yard, but I prefer to do my business when on a walk.
I do not jump up when it's time to eat, but instead wait patiently until I'm told to eat. I do not hoard food and am a slow eater. While I do have my favorite foods, I will eat anything. I do protect the home and I will let you know when strangers arrive but will relax when you tell me it's ok.
Some of my favorite things to do are going for walks and lying in the sun. My foster sometimes works in the backyard, and I just hang out next to him. The transition from having a family to being a foster is a little tough and sometimes I just want to cuddle, but with a good home I know I will be ok.

This Momma kitty is ready to relive her youth! Meet Taffeta -- she is springy and flirty and friendly. She would love to find a home that will lavish with her love and adoration. She can be sneaky trying to get through doors, so a cat savvy home would be good as she will keep you on your toes!
