Meet Erica & Elyse:

These active, playful girls are an adorable bonded pair! They are confident and like nothing better than a good romp with the mouse wand toy! Although they love to see visitors with a wand toy in their hand and are always open to play fun, they are not always open to petting. Elyse accepts some petting, but Erica prefers to just hangout nearby (although she will venture into your lap long enough for a Churu!). Elyse and Erica need cat-savvy adult guardians who know how to entice them using positive reinforcement (playtime, food, and treats). They both have done well with their new feline roommates. We think these girls will grow into quirky little companions!

Meet Skitterbug:

Skitterbug is a quirky girl! She is playful, affectionate, and talkative. She always tells us when she wants attention. Every day, Skitterbug greets us with head bunts and is ready for wand toy play. She loves petting (to a point) and likes to hang out next to us. She needs a quiet household without dogs or any other cats. Skitterbug has been through more than one home and will live her best life in a calm and quiet adult home with a cat-savvy guardian. At one point, she was an indoor cat, at another point she was an indoor/outdoor cat. She is looking for peace, tranquility, and stability. This cutie with her big eyes and little freckles has a lot of love and personality, she just needs to find someone to share them with!

Meet Pablo:

This big, goofy, squishy puppy is Pablo, the wonder pup! Pablo is very social and relatively mellow for a puppy. He loves people and he seems to like other dogs, though he still needs to learn some manners with other canines. Some larger, mature adult dogs who will put him in his place when he is being rude (but play with him when he is behaving) would be good for him. He seems eager to learn and is ready for puppy class! Come meet Pablo with is amazing ears and you are sure to fall in love.

Meet Albrecht:

Yup your eyes are not deceiving you. That is one fluffy rabbit for sure! And, you know what that means...LOTS of combing. Albrecht, we believe, is a French Angora (or mixed with one) and is not going to be good choice for someone new to rabbits. Angoras are beautiful, soft and Albrecht is no different. But with out proper care of his fur he'll get matted and messy. So if you are looking to get Zen by combing a rabbit, which many people do, then he might be the one for you. Albrecht spent several weeks in foster and here's what they told us about him:

Albrecht is such a sweet bunny. He got much better using his box and was friendly, outgoing and gentle. He was very good with our two young children (3 and 5 years old) and we think he'd be fine with other children. Overall he was great to have in our house. Sadly one of us discovered we were allergic to him and had to bring him back sooner rather than later. We'll miss him for a lot but his new family will surely fall in love with him as quickly as we did!

Albrecht was found out on a trail in Marin County. He was very lucky to have not been injured or worse. He's a domestic rabbit and probably would not have lasted very long out in the wild. Rabbits are hard to age but we suspect he's under six months old. If well cared for he should live to be 10-12 years of age.

Tune into Marcus & Corey every Friday to meet more animals that could be your family's next pet.
