Meet Astro:
Astro is as handsome as he is FUN. He has a beautiful brindle coat and pretty golden brown eyes.
This young boy is about 2.5 yrs old and weighs about 70 lbs. His foster mom thinks he still needs to gain a few more - even though he looks like an athlete!
Astro has good manners, loves people and gets along well with other dogs. He is really strong though and his happy, wagging tail could leave a mark on you!
Playing with balls and butt scratches are his two most favorite things.
He is perfectly potty trained. He's also learned some basic commands. He's treat motivated and has no food aggression.
Astro is all vetted and ready for his forever home!
Meet Linus:
Meet Linus, a delightful adult canine with a personality that's sure to win your heart. He's a sweet soul, always ready to give you a cuddle when you need it most. His goofy antics will have you laughing in no time, making even the gloomiest of days seem brighter. He's also a playful companion, his energy infectious and boundless. Don't be fooled though, Linus is no ordinary dog. He's smart, a quick learner who's eager to please. Whether it's a new trick or a complicated game, Linus is up for the challenge. So why adopt Linus? Because he's not just a pet, he's a friend, a source of joy, and a loyal companion. His love is unconditional, his spirit unbreakable. He's ready to make your house a home!
*Linus can be a bit pushy around dogs, he's young and adolescent but does love to romp around all day in playgroup! He's currently being fostered at Happy Hound Doggie Daycare where he gets so much attention and training!!!

Meet Gomez:
This delightful fella would love to bring his new family some holiday cheer. Gomez will start off a little timid and will need a bunch of gentle petting, dedicated attention and fun toys to break the ice. He is sweet natured and would likely appreciate a quieter, mellow home where he can take his time getting comfortable and bonding with you. He is currently hanging with a sibling, and would appreciate having a friendly resident pet in his new home.
Meet Maka:
Hi! My name is Maka. I'm a very handsome boy looking for a new home! I came to Hopalong because my first family could no longer keep me due to a housing situation.
I am 7 years old but still very active. I am very calm at home and like to just sit in the sun or next to you but take me to the dog park and I watch me go. I've been told I have the energy of a three-year-old. I'm really dog-social, great with adults and older children (12+), and love to please. I know a few tricks like sit, stay, shake, and lay down. I go to the bathroom in the outside yard, but I prefer to do my business when on a walk.
I do not jump up when it's time to eat, but instead wait patiently until I'm told to eat. I do not hoard food and I usually eat with my foster brother next to me. While I do have my favorite foods, I will eat anything. I do protect the home and I will let you know when strangers show up, but I will relax when I see you relaxed.
Some of my favorite things to do are watching TV next to my foster dad, going for walks, and running. I know I look big and I have a deep voice, but I just want to play. My foster is working on my recall because he says my prey-drive is great for catch-and-fetch activities.
