Meet April:
Just like the month of April when spring brings regrowth, our beloved friend is looking for her new beginning. April can be a little nervous meeting new people at first, but her best pals have been building her confidence with patience, love, and of course yummy treats. Once you have gained her trust, she shows you her true personality and is affectionate and wiggly.
Small dogs can be her pals, but small children can be a bit overwhelming for our sweet gal. An adult home, or a home with older children would be the best place for this 19lbs of love to land.
Recently April had to have her tail amputated, but she is taking it in good strides. She no longer is in pain and is looking forward to her hair growing back. In the meantime, it looks like she is wearing pants!

Hi. My name is Sullivan. My friends call me Sully.
I am the outgoing confident companion to my best friend Figment(A real cat! Not a figment of my imagination!)
We arrived together from a faraway land called East Bay. I've been helping Figment navigate his new home by introducing myself to our staff and volunteers, taste testing all the yummy snacks, and getting familiar with our new landscape. I even found some good hiding spots for Figment! Figment and I complement each other, so you get the best of both worlds. I'll hang out with you when you want to be social and meet your pals for coffee, and Figment will be near you for those rainy days when you just want to read a book.

My best friend Sullivan always tells me it's ok to be a little bit scared of the world because he will always be near me to keep me safe and help build my confidence. Sullivan always says that all it takes is "one spark of imagination" from someone to see my full potential. Right now, I prefer to have pets while I'm inside my house, raid the fridge when no one is looking, and pretend I'm on safari whilst watching passersby from the bushes. With enough love and patience, I will no longer just be a figment of imagination, I will soar like a dragon.
