If you've never heard of this before, Foreign Accent Syndrome is a real and mysterious neurological response to some surgeries and this TikToker is now showing us what it's like! TikToker @angie.mcyen claims that one day after her tonsillectomy, she woke up with a full-blown Irish accent.
It's real and affects very few people, usually after surgery. There are only 100 known cases of the disease since it first appeared.
