According to ABC 7 Los Angeles, Gino a chihuahua eskimo mixed who lives right here in Los Angeles, just turned 22 years old! Alex Wolf and his roomate adopted Gino back in 2002, when they were Sophomores in college! Alex Wolf read an article online about the death of the oldest living dog, and he wondered if his Gino could be the current oldest living dog. Alex Wolf said:

"I called the Humane Society and I wanted to find out what they had on record from Gino's adoption and they actually did have us on record, which was surprising to me. We take him on wagon walks around the neighborhood, we take him on car rides here and there. When we have the fireplace going, we set up his bed in front of the fireplace. It's a life of luxury."
