Oy boy! I'm pretty sure fans of The Weeknd will have MIXED reaction to this, as this has happened to me before and I ended up missing out altogether! ;/ If you have travel plans for the Thanksgiving holiday weekend, you may NOT love that THAT'S when The Weeknd has decided to reschedule his concerts in Southern California! Three and half songs in, The Weeknd abruptly canceled his last show at SoFi Stadium (on the second night of two shows) after telling the crowd 'he suddenly lost his voice'. He apologized and vowed to reschedule and 'give fans the concert they deserved'. Sadly, that also must mean...on Thanksgiving weekend! If you had tickets for that canceled show, they will be automatically transferred to the new date of Saturday Nov. 26th...IF you're going to be in town. Another date was added for Sunday Nov. 27th too...due to 'overwhelming demand' a press release said.
PS...Nov. 27 will also be the last 2022 date in his global "After Hours Til Dawn" tour.
So...who will it be...Thanksgiving dinner with Gramma back east...or The Weeknd at SoFi?!! ;/ (PS I'm only bitter because this happened to me earlier this year, when a member of Air Supply got Covid. The rescheduled date ended up being a holiday weekend. I wasn't able to resell them or get my money back...so I was out $450!! ;/ But IF you're town, I'll just zip and say ENJOY!! ha
