Man Offering $300 To Save His Place In Line For Pics With Santa!

Talk about a fantastic way to make some side cash by doing odd jobs around the holidays! These particular tasks were posted in the Los Angeles area via the side hustle app Airtasker a seemingly fun way to make some extra money, depending on what you can help people with.

Airtasker is a company that provides an online and mobile marketplace enabling users to outsource everyday tasks. Users describe the task and indicate a budget, community members then bid to complete the task. I saw this on the local news, so ALWAYS be ready to do everything in your power to make sure these folks are legit...but check out some of these posts:

A man named Ben is looking to pay someone $300 to hold his place in line to take pics with Santa at The Grove in the Fairfax district. He says he's hoping to take his kids to meet Santa Claus there Friday Dec. 23....sadly because there are not any reservations available...he doesn't want to wait up to 90 minutes with his two young kids waiting and waiting...“Waiting in line with 2 young kids is a lot. I just need someone to wait in line for me until it’s our turn.” Would you hold their spot for $300?? HECK YEAH!!

Other Airtasker listings in the LA area had offers for folks to decorate Christmas trees, put lights on a house AND another asking for someone to cook a Christmas dinner for 10 people!! For a $1000!! Now THAT'S some nice sidecash!! Granted, by the time you read this, those particular tasks probably already have takers. But sounds like the app is definitely worth a look as it says a 'tasker could earn up to $2500 a month helping others complete tasks'. Who's down?!!
