As we continue to fight the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, COVID-19 testing is now going to include canines and cats.

According to health experts, they say that there's no evidence that people can catch the virus from pets, but the FDA reported that infected people can give COVID to their animals. Officials say that cats and ferrets seem to be the most susceptible to COVID-19 but dogs can also catch the virus.

If your animal does test positive, it is recommended for them to quarantine for at least 14 days.
