A weather Wellness Shot this morning as the overnight rain has caused flooding, power outages, and downed tree limbs throughout the Bay Area.
If you come to a flooded area, turn around. 12” of fast-moving water can carry away a small car. Don’t chance it.
If you’re on the road and come to an intersection in an area where the power is out and the traffic signal is not working, you treat it like a 4-way stop. The person who gets there first goes thru first, if two cars get there at the same time the person on the RIGHT goes first
If you’re in an area where debris flow is an issue, like a burn scar area, follow the evacuation orders of your local officials but if you have to shelter in place get to the highest point inside your home. Get UP not out!
