The Oakland Greek Festival returns for its 51st year this weekend from May 19th to May 21st.

This vibrant celebration will immerse you in a world of Greek culture with homemade food and cooking demonstrations throughout the weekend. Authentic Greek dancing, live music, artisans and crafters, plus bakers sharing fresh, homemade Greek pastries, all set against the backdrop of the Oakland hills. The Greek Orthodox Cathedral of the Ascension provides stunning views as you enjoy one of Oakland favorite festivals.

Here's what you need to know to get you there make the most of this event:

Admission and Tickets: The 51st annual Oakland Greek Festival is a true family event happening Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, May 19th, 20th, and 21st. 4700 Lincoln Avenue, Oakland hills, below Highway 13. Admission to the festival is priced at $5 for adults, while children aged 12 and under can enter for free. To save time and skip the lines, purchase your entrance tickets in advance through Eventbrite.

Parking and Rideshare: Enjoy free parking at the Mormon Temple, Ability Now Bay Area (formerly Cerebral Palsy Center), and Head Royce School. If you prefer to use rideshare services like Uber or Lyft, there's a designated drop-off and pick-up location on Lincoln Avenue, next to the outdoor elevator by the garage. Additionally, there's a free shuttle service available to transport you to and from the parking areas. Disabled parking spaces are also provided for those in need.

Premium Parking: For those seeking a premium parking experience, there's an option to park in the designated Parking Pavilion for $20. This ensures a convenient and hassle-free parking spot throughout your time at the festival.

Pet Policy: Only service dogs are allowed at the Oakland Greek Festival.
