Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are hoping some family time at a "fortress" is able to mend their issues after the latter’s public tirades.

As per TMZ, the power couple have hopped on a private jet with their children, North, 7, Saint, 4, Chicago, 2, and Psalm, 14, to unwind in a tropical island outside the country. Unlike previous trips, this vacation, which is said to be at a fortress-esque estate "virtually impossible for trespassers to get close," is designed to be a photo-free trip. Sources also revealed that there's been "total radio silence" as to how the vacation is going, but the family intends on remaining on the estate for quite some time.

"The couple knows they need quality time with their kids and no other outside voices or people," another source told Entertainment Tonight. "Kim knows that Kanye being with his family will be good for him."

Kardashian has reportedly felt torn about pulling the plug on her marriage to West. The two were last seen together when the E! star flew to his ranch in Cody, Wyoming after multiple attempts to visit the rapper. Photographers caught the reality star in tears as they were spotted in a tense conversation in a vehicle. The appearance arrived after the rapper's presidential rally, Twitter rants and the E! star's public statement on his bipolar disorder. Since lashing out, the former has publicly apologized for the outbursts. "I would like to apologize to my wife Kim for going public with something that was a private matter. I did not cover her like she has covered me," the rapper told his Twitter following. "To Kim I want to say I know I hurt you. Please forgive me. Thank you for always being there for me."
