By now you probably know that Forever21 has officially filed for bankruptcy.

The store made the announcement on Sunday and also announced that they would be closing 178 of their 350 stores across the country.

"This was an important and necessary step to secure the future of our Company," said EVP Linda Chang.

The company also plans to stop operations in 40 countries including Canada and Japan. The website will continue to operate.
