Good news if you are flying soon and love drinking on a plane... alcohol is coming back!
Delta just announced that they are restoring beer and wine service across most of their US flights, three months after they suspended service in order to limit contact between passengers and staff. The roll out is slow though, with only First Class and Comfort+ getting to imbibe starting July 2. Main cabin will have wait a little bit longer.
Allison Ausband, Delta's senior vice president of in-flight service said in a statement
"We know beer and wine are the adult beverages our customers want most... These selections are the first step towards a normalized beverage offering while we continue to keep customer and crew safety at the center of everything we do."
