When the San Diego Department of Animal Services started posting on social media about Harvey, the husky with the lop sided face, it caught of the attention of Sherry Langston in Seattle.
"So we kind of had to pause and I was like, 'OK, well, that's probably not going to happen.' I even looked at flights... I was like, 'Why not look? Let's see if I (can) find a flight to San Diego.' And things were just outrageous — just to even consider that was silly."
Thing was, Sherry just couldn't get Harvey off her mind. That's when she made the decision to drive the 2,500 miles to bring Harvey home.
