Thousands of Game of Thrones fans are livid. They are demanding the eighth and final season of the popular HBO series be redone by "competent writers". The Change.org petition hit 200K signatures, and is growing.
“David Benioff and D.B. Weiss have proven themselves to be woefully incompetent writers when they have no source material (i.e. the books) to fall back on... This series deserves a final season that makes sense. Subvert my expectations and make it happen, HBO!”
There has been a lot to talk about so far this season, with scenes that were too dark to watch, coffee cup and missing hand errors, sometimes the series has made headlines for what some would see as the wrong reasons.
I doubt this petition will go anywhere though. These things are usually just a way for angry fans to blow off steam.
