All Bay Area Bridges Are Going Cashless

After a vote Wednesday by the Metropolitan Transportation Commission, all seven Bay Area bridges will become like the Golden Gate Bridge... all electronic tolling. Cash toll takers will be gone. The change will take a few years to actually go into effect.

Randy Rentschler with the Metropolitan Transportation Commission says, "There's plenty of evidence that what we have now is imperfect and we're going to try to make it a little bit better... We have enough FasTrak customers where cash toll payers are kinda getting in everybody's way,"
