This is partly cool, and partly creepy.
The San Francisco Giants have committed to using cardboard cutouts instead of fans to fill the seats at home games during the upcoming season. But, there's more... your image could be one of the cutouts!
Even though there has not been any official word from MLB regarding fans attending games, the Giants took the extra step first and ruled out in person attendance. Season ticket holders will be able to submit an image of themselves, and they will be reproduced as a cardboard cutout to be placed at Oracle Park.
Other sports across the globe have already begun using the cardboard cutout method to fill seats.
