We all started drinking a lot during stay at home orders, but that may be ending soon.
When the pandemic hit, beer that would have been filling kegs going to restaurants and bars, was put in to aluminum cans. Makes sense... restaurants and bars were closed. Thing is, people started buying and hoarding a lot of beer. Now, there is an aluminum shortage, so companies may not be able to make enough cans to restock store shelves.
Throw in the cultural boom of things like White Claw and other hard seltzers, and you've got a massive problem. The humble aluminum can is now very hard to come by! Supply just can't meet demand.
