This story is SO CUTE!!!
A dad in Michigan, Brandon Boyer, went to an animal shelter to look at chickens. When he was there, he saw a 2-month old puppy with a cleft lip. His son, Bentley (who's 2) also happens to have a cleft lip- so he decided to adopt the puppy! Bentley's mom, Ashley, said, "To see him have something in common with a puppy means a lot because he can grow up and understand that he and his puppy both have something they share in common."
And the bond speaks FOR ITSELF! Look at their adorable pictures, below. The shelter said, "It's so hard to put into words how meaningful this adoption is to all of us so we are gonna let the pictures speak for themselves."
