Today is Veterans Day – the day we honor the men and women who have dedicated their lives to serving our country during its most difficult chapters. Not surprisingly, we’re all pretty grateful and a number of freebies are available.

- Hooters is offering free wings, Dunkin' is giving away donuts and Denny's has a free Grand Slam until noon.
